Account & Keys

Your license key is the credential for live trading. This page covers checking its status, recovering it if lost, and managing your subscription. The portal lives at account.edgeproof.net.

Where your key comes from

When you subscribe at edgeproof.net, two things happen:

  1. The confirmation page shows your key once (EP-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX). Copy it then.
  2. A copy is emailed to the address you used at checkout.

Activate it with:

edgeproof license activate EP-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Check your license status

Two ways:

The portal looks your key up directly. There is no password to remember: the key itself is what you enter.

Recover a lost key

If you lost the key and can't find the email:

  1. Go to account.edgeproof.net and choose Recover lost key.
  2. Enter the email address you used at checkout.
  3. If an account exists for that email, we send the key to it. For your privacy, the page shows the same confirmation whether or not the email is registered, so check your inbox and spam folder.

You can also email support@edgeproof.net with your Stripe receipt.

Manage or cancel your subscription

From the portal's status view, use Manage subscription to open the Stripe customer portal, where you can update your payment method, view invoices, or cancel. Cancellation stops future renewals; live access continues until the end of the paid period. See the billing terms in the Terms of Service.

Using one key on multiple machines

One key works on more than one machine, for example a laptop and a desktop. Large-scale sharing is detected and handled server-side by revocation at refresh time.

What we can and cannot see

The portal and our servers only ever see account and billing data: your email, Stripe subscription state, and the license record. We never receive your Alpaca keys, your positions, your signals, or any trading activity. Those stay on your machine. See the Privacy Policy.
